I think it’s safe to say that we were incredibly unlucky to have not come away with a few more goals. There were a number of great chances for Philippa, Mia, Pheobe and Pippin.

Annie and Isla were both excellent in defence and I must give a special shout out to Bridget for stepping in as our goalie, with only one training session! She did an incredible job!

We managed to keep three clean sheets and only lost our other two games by a single goal.

Whilst it may feel disappointing, each of the girls can be proud of their performance!

Annie made some fantastic clearances and was never afraid to get stick in.

Isla was great at applying pressure on the opposition.

Mia positioned herself well for her teammates and had a lovely shot on goal.

Pippin and Pheobe complimented each other, adjusting their positioning when the game called for it.

Philippa dominated in midfield and fed some fantastic balls to the girls inside the D.

All in all, another great learning experience and the girls improved with every game.
